ABOUT US

Essex Gymkhana Club — Not Just a Club, a Place to Belong
Essex Gymkhana Club (EGC) is more than a sports and leisure club — it’s a community. We bring together people who enjoy sport, social activities, and memorable events in a welcoming environment where everyone can connect, contribute, and belong.
Our mission is simple: to create a space where members feel at home, form lasting friendships, and take part in activities that bring people together. Whether it’s a casual social evening, a gala event, a coaching session, or a league match, there’s something for everyone at EGC.
Built by a team of experienced professionals with wide-reaching networks, EGC is founded on shared values of inclusivity, camaraderie, and community. We believe that a club should be more than just a place to play sport — it should be a place to meet friends, celebrate achievements, and make memories that last a lifetime.
At EGC, you’ll find:
-
EGC Sports – structured, inclusive sessions and league matches that welcome members of all levels.
-
EGC Socials – casual gatherings and social evenings designed to bring people together.
-
EGC Events – gala evenings, BBQs, New Year celebrations, and family-friendly events that strengthen our community.
Because at the heart of everything we do is one goal: creating a space where everyone belongs.
